Hey there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet—I’m so glad you’re here. If we haven’t met yet, my name is Katlyn Brown, but you can call me Katy. I’m a proud wife, a mom of two amazing kids, and someone who’s always navigating the beautiful chaos that life throws my way.
I like to think of myself as the kind of friend who always has advice ready to go—whether you asked for it or not. Funny enough, while I’m pretty great at dishing out wisdom, I’ve always struggled with taking my own advice. It’s a work in progress, but hey, aren’t we all?
My Heart Belongs to My Faith and Family
Faith plays a huge role in my life. I love God with my whole heart, and my relationship with Him shapes how I approach everything. From the big, life-changing moments to the quiet, everyday ones, I believe He’s walking alongside me through it all.
And then there’s my family—my husband Garrett is my rock and my best friend. Together, we’re raising two wonderful kids: Ella, who is full of curiosity and kindness, and Jackson, who keeps us all on our toes with his boundless energy. Life with them is unpredictable, messy, and oh-so-fulfilling.
The Creative Chaos
When I’m not chasing after kids or juggling the demands of daily life, you’ll probably find me immersed in one of my favorite hobbies: digital design. I have a knack for bringing creative ideas to life, whether it’s designing a planner, crafting social media graphics, or diving into a branding project. There’s just something magical about turning a blank page into something functional and beautiful.
Learning to Love the Mess
Life around here is far from perfect, but I wouldn’t trade the chaos for anything. I’ve learned to embrace the messiness, the unexpected detours, and the moments when it feels like everything’s falling apart—because that’s where the good stuff happens. It’s in those moments that I’ve seen my faith deepen, my family grow stronger, and myself becoming the person I’m meant to be.
So, that’s me in a nutshell: a wife, a mom, a believer, and a creative soul learning to love the journey as much as the destination.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me! I’d love to hear about you, too. Let’s connect in the comments—tell me something about your story, your chaos, or the thing that makes you come alive.
